Hydrocodone, Vicodin, Opium is a partial agonist of opioid receptors, a moderate level of analgesia. Even at high doses may not reach the level of pain, opioids such as morphine, when with non-steroidal such as paracetamol.
It works by combining with receptors, the neural signal, known as mu, delta and kappa receptors inhibit. The main recipient will be moved that hydrocodone is a partial agonist. It is believed that connected most of the analgesic properties and almost all the euphoria, patterns of dependency and sedation for activation of mu-receptors in the central nervous system, especially in the spinal cord and brain. The biochemical process is the exact cause is unknown, the only way the recipient. We know this because a partial agonist and kappa receptor antagonist nalbuphine mu receptor acts as an analgesic, but rather have fewer side effects and respiratory function. On other side effects that limit its use, however.
Hope this helps, but as I mentioned earlier, nos still much research to be done on this subject, and some theories condradict each other.

Vicodin contains hydrocodone, a large group of opioid substance addiction. The reason why people feel the euphoria of opiates, is related to its analgesic effect. How do scientists do?

I am interested in the answers to this question. I am often prescribed Vicodin for pain, and I myself will be leftover Vicodin, figity you to sleep at night. I never felt a euphoria, and I do not understand why these pills are so popular in the streets.

Good question.
